Nicole McKinnon



Nicole McKinnon has over a decade of family law experience, which she uses to represent her clients’ interests inside and outside of the family courtroom. She recognizes the serious, life-altering nature of family law cases and strives to provide personal attention and dedicated representation to help her clients through. She is a senior associate at Abramovitch Blalock & McKinnon, LLC.

Nicole started her career as an associate at Abramovitch Blalock & McKinnon, LLC in 2006, upon her graduation from the DePaul University College of Law. She graduated magna cum laude and received her Certificate in Family Law. While attending DePaul, Nicole was awarded a grant to work at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, in the Family Law division.

Nicole is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Board of Governors of the Chicago Council of Lawyers. She is also appointed to the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services’ Child Support Advisory Committee. In 2012, Nicole received a Special Recognition Award for her pro bono work with the Council of Lawyers/Chicago Appleseed.
